"...In my technique, the deformation and painting of glass plates in the kiln and the creation of sung-in mantras, the idea developed to create a record out of glass..." In a funded project LINA ZYLLA has developed an LP with her mantras with 20 individual productions. The printed record has then served as an imprint template for a series of LP glass objects. There have been 4 records made of glass and were exhibited in an exhibition and a release of the LP and audible on turntables. The resulting glass records change every time they are played. The transmitted sounds change the sound and the needle scratches into the glass. The fine lines of the record are changed when played and new sounds are created.
